Terrorists take down the Internet, resulting in the total collapse of civilization. A science fiction fantasy? Or a story taken from today's headlines.
Amid the chaos of The Fall, Phil Davis, former Marine, fulfills a promise to return a young woman to her father. But when they seek shelter in each other's arms in a raging blizzard, there are consequences that will haunt them for years to come - just as Phil is finally reunited once again with the woman from his youth that even the horrors of war could not make him forget.

The book shows how average people, not governments, react when caught in a world disaster. The book reminded me of Stephen King's The Stand in that it jumps back and forth between different people who are brought together at the end. It starts out a little slow, but picks up quickly after the calamity. Well-written, it is definitely an adult book with adult content. It is not for kids or even teenagers. The author is very creative and does an excellant job of getting into his character's heads and showing their motivations.Product details

Doomsday A tale of cyber terror eBook Michael Tidemann Karen Trottman Reviews
This is a novel for those who loved the Stand or The Shack. Took me about two days to read. Very good writer. Interested to see what the author is working on next.
An interesting read regarding a cyber attack, which could come straight out of today's news headlines. A creative, descriptive account of events that may occur following such an attack.
then it was like someone else took over the writing. And the book changed.
I would probably try another one of his book though.
The book was ok. It got a little homie in places. I found myself wanting to get to the end.
